A Limited Edition Wilson Combat NULA

Before Melvin Forbes passed away, he and I were planning a limited edition rifle built to my specifications. Melvin left us before that rifle could become a reality. Fortunately, Wilson Combat had assumed manufacturer of NULA rifles and I’ve been collaborating with them to be able to offer an EmptyCases rifle. We finalized all the details on my recent visit to the Wilson Combat factory and the EmptyCases NULA rifle is now a reality.

My NULA Infatuation

I’m very excited about this collaboration, partly because of my infatuation with NULA rifles, and also because now I can order one direct from Wilson Combat that’s set up exactly the way I want it. You might wonder why these rifles are not limited to a single cartridge, stock color, or barrel length, but I think those things are a very personal choice, and I got not business selecting any of those things for you. (I’m happy to give advice on all those considerations.)

The EmptyCases Edition NULA rifle is available in any barrel length and chambering combination Wilson Combat currently offers. My first EmptyCases Edition NULA utilizes the Model 20S action, is chambered for the 300 HAMR, and has a 16-inch barrel. This makes it a very compact rifle that’s optimally compatible with a suppressor. Out of the box, with medium height, one-inch scope rings installed, it weighs only 4.95 pounds.

If you want an EmptyCases Edition NULA, you simply select any NULA on the Wilson Combat website that’s currently available — or in a configuration they offer — and tell them to “Make it an EmptyCases Edition.” Just like all NULA rifles it comes with a sub MOA precision guarantee and the EmptyCases Edition NULA costs the same as a standard NULA. However, you cannot order direct from Wilson Combat.

The only way to get an EmptyCases Edition NULA rifle is to be an EmptyCases Premium subscriber. (Wilson Combat does not catalog the EmptyCases NULA rifle.) You must request order authorization from me, I’ll send your name to Wilson Combat, and then you can call and place your order. (In the interest of full disclosure, I get nothing from your purchase beyond your premium subscriber fee.)
