I read an article recently you wrote in Game and Fish West about the Wilson Combat NULA Model 20. I thought then that you mounted your scope farther back than I do. Ha... now I know why. Thanks!
It's no surprise humans are made differently and the can account for some difference. However, I think most rifle shooters mount their scopes too far forward for optimum off-hand shooting.

What are you using for a "battle rifle?"
I’ll be using my FN, SCAR-17 in 7.62x51mm. It’s topped with a Nightforce NX-8, ATACR 1-8x24mm.
