This is indeed interesting. Looks like Ruger has been quietly listening to folks who actually use Glocks, and what slight modifications some of us must do to make them more friendly. My biggest criticism of the G19 Gen 3 was the finger grooves, and lack of a relief cut under the rear of the trigger guard. The term “Glock knuckle” is a very good descriptor for someone such as myself when taking five day classes at Gunsite, and after a solid week of presentations from a holster this becomes an issue. I solved for the most part this issue with some very careful and judicious use of a Dremel tool, but it’s not something I like to do if I can avoid it. From looking at pictures of the Ruger RXM pistol, I hope to use it out of the box as is.
I really like this pistol and am excited to see what the future holds.
